Tomorrow, the sun will dawn on a new Lord’s day on the eastern shores. Once again, the people of God will gather from shore to shore to sing the praises of the King.

Have you ever stopped to think that for some 2000 years people have been doing this week in and week out? When you walk in the doors of your church you gather together, not just with your little gathering of believers, but you join with a great host of believers throughout the ages singing “worthy is the lamb”. These believers continue to lift up their souls in praise while they await the second advent of Christ; and you join your voice again.

Are you enthusiastic about going to Church tomorrow? Another thought to ponder. As you gather in peace, many of your brothers and sisters will come together at the risk of their lives. They will put their blood on the line in order to meet among the people of God. Why? Because “worthy is the lamb”.

Let me encourage you to make the most of the Lord’s day and not neglect the gathering of God’s people. Join with the saints throughout the ages and join with the saints who risk their blood, join with them in singing “worthy is the lamb”.
